Oh, also a note for my fellow Trekkies: I'm the guy responsible for TrekCore.com's Rare Photo and Ultimately Human specials, and basically flooding the internet via TrekCore with a few thousand awesome and rare Star Trek photos for the past 5 years. So... yeah. Oh and, go through my Archive, it is frakking awesome and shiny!

Folks, I’m afraid you’re going to have to cope with at least one politics post a day until the election is over.  It’s not what my blog is about, but if you knew me in real life, you’d realize how much I resist writing about it the rest of the time.  So with a month to go… well, I can’t hold back.  So please bare with me once a day, maybe sometimes not even that.  Promise it won’t last long. ;)

Well that, folks, is the new unemployment number.  And that is the first time it’s been under 8% in 40 months.  And that former 8% number has been one of the most dog-eared go-to laments of Mitt Romney and company. 

With today’s drop to below 8?  That well-flogged argument is well and truly dead.

Already, you can see the steam coming out of Republican ears as they conspiracy theorize about how it’s all rigged against them… lol.
