One of my cats, Drizzle, is a very thoughtful kitty.

Every time he pukes, he finds something - a piece of paper, an old sock, whatever - to cover up said mess.

Now I know from a cat point of view, he’s trying to bury it and get rid of it.  But from a human point of view, it has the benefit of preventing you from stepping in a pile of kitty barf.  Granted, it can cause such to become smushed into the carpet… but that’s still much better than ending up on your shoe/slipper or, worse, bare foot.

It’s also about a cute as you can get when on the topic of barf.

It’s like he’s saying, “Sowwy, I cleenz it!”
