As the individual responsible for scanning this photo onto the internet, you’re all welcome. ;) Always glad to see this stuff pop up elsewhere on the web and being appreciated! :D This is from the filming of Star Trek IV, in the big water-tank set where they built the crashed bird of prey for the films climax. The photo is a candid shot of De between takes, just sitting on the hull of the bird of prey, drenched and waiting. The sepia tone was the photographer’s artistic choice an I think works beautifully. I can’t remember exactly whom the photographer was, except that he was related somehow to Leonard Nimoy. I believe his son-in-law? (via vibrant-oxymoron) |
